This Weeks Happenings

I appreciate those of you who tried to reassure me that the spiders in my house weren't that big of a deal. But sadly I had already gotten to the point where I was inconsolable and went ahead with the debugging. I feel a lot better now and have not seen a spider since the exterminator left. What a relief.

My little sister Kelsy whoas over David Archuleta losing can't as easily be chased away. I talked to her this afternoon and she says after a good cry she is doing alright. She has hope that he will put out an album and has all ready secured tickets to the America Idol concert, so at least for now she will be fine.

Totally of the subject...Tuesday night the majority of my family went to dinner at Rodezio for my sister-in-law's (Kylie) birthday. Rodezio's is a delicious Brazilian Restaurant where waiters carry skewers of meat from table to table and only stop the parade of meat when the table patrons beg for mercy. I'm pretty sure the amount of meat I ate could get me entered as a contender at Nathan's International July Fourth Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Anyway, I got a few pictures of the festivities:

Me, Randy and Little Man

The birthday girl (right) and her best friend, Katie (left)

The whole gang. PS No one is looking at the camera because we can't get our act together enough to get a group photo. In attendance going clockwise around the table: Derek, Hilz, Ozzy, Malia, Katie, Kylie, Basil, Jonathan, Me, Randy, Asher, Gen, Mom and Kent. Not in attendance: Daniel, because he is 17 years old and dinner with the family isn't all that cool. Also missing, Kelsy, because her friends were throwing a David Archuleta party that night.

'Twas a fun and filling night. HB Kylie!
